If you’ve spent any time exploring my senior portrait experiences, you’ve probably noticed one thing they now all have in common. Every experience includes a Luxe Senior Album.
That wasn’t always the case though.
Albums have pretty much always been an option to add after the session. Then something interesting started happening. Almost every family who came to their Image Premiere would pick up one of my sample albums, flip through the pages, and say, “We have to have this.” It quickly became my most requested product, so I stopped making it optional.
When I redesigned my senior experiences, I built a Luxe Senior Album into every one of them. It simply felt like the way your story was always meant to be finished.
Why I Call It “Luxe”
This isn’t a photo book; it’s an heirloom.
Your choice of cover is wrapped in beautifully textured leather with timeless stitching, or with your favorite photo fully wrapped around from front to back. The pages are thick and substantial, with lay-flat spreads that allow every image to become part of the story. The colors are rich, the craftsmanship is incredible, and every detail feels thoughtfully made here in the good ‘ole U.S.A.
You won’t want to be putting this one away…It’s the kind of album you leave on the coffee table instead of hiding on a bookshelf. The kind people naturally reach for when they’re visiting – the kind you’ll still be pulling out years from now.
You Have to Feel It
These pictures of the album are nice, but holding it is something entirely different. So, when you meet me for your pre-session meeting, you will get to see several samples to look at. Before we ever talk about locations or outfits, I want you to experience what your photographs can become.
You’ll feel the leather. Turn the pages. Notice the weight in your hands. There’s almost always a moment where someone smiles and says, “Oh…now I understand.” That’s exactly why I have them. A screen just can’t recreate that feeling.
It’s A Tie
Session Day and Image Premiere are tied for my favorite day. As much as I love photographing seniors, I equally love your Image Premiere. This is when you see your portraits for the very first time and it can be one of the most emotional parts of the entire experience.
I’ve watched moms quietly wipe away tears.
I’ve watched dads get emotional too. (Don’t worry, I won’t name names!)
And I’ve watched seniors look at themselves with a completely different perspective. Many walk into their session convinced they’re awkward in front of a camera or “just aren’t photogenic.” Then they sit down to see their images and for the first time, they see themselves the way everyone else has always seen them.
Confident.
Beautiful.
Strong.
Joyful.
The album becomes so much more than a collection of photographs. It becomes the place where that moment lives. For parents, there’s another layer to it. Somewhere between choosing favorite images and turning those thick pages, it quietly settles in.
This really is senior year.
The countdown to graduation has begun. Childhood is giving way to adulthood, and whether you’re ready or not, this chapter is coming to a close. It’s emotional. Not in a sad way. In a grateful way. You realize just how special this season has been.
More Than Digital Files
We live in a world where thousands of photos live on our phones. Most of them are never looked at again. Senior portraits deserve better than that because they are intentional. They deserve to be printed, shared, passed around the living room, and pulled off the shelf years from now when everyone wants to remember who they were at seventeen or eighteen. An album slows you down.
It invites you to relive the day, the excitement, the laughter, and all the little moments that made senior year unforgettable.
Built for Generations
These albums aren’t made for today. They’re made for twenty years from now.
For the day your senior comes home from college.
For the day they’re packing for their first apartment.
For the day they bring their own children home and say, “Want to see what Grandma and Grandpa did for my senior pictures?”
That’s why quality matters. These albums are handcrafted to last, so your family’s story can be enjoyed for generations.
Why Every Experience Includes One
When I redesigned my offerings, I asked myself one question.
What do I believe every family should leave with?
The answer wasn’t digital files.
It wasn’t wall art.
It was this.
A beautifully crafted album that tells the story of one unforgettable year. Your senior portraits deserve to exist somewhere beyond a screen. Somewhere they’ll be held, shared, revisited, and treasured for years to come. That’s why every senior portrait experience includes a Luxe Senior Album. Someday, long after graduation announcements are gone and Instagram posts have disappeared into the feed, this is what you’ll reach for.
And I have a feeling you’ll be very glad you have it.
